Jane Smith is our Chief Executive Director/Program Coordinator.
She brings decades of experience in Financial Services, Business Administration and has a strong background in Human Resource Management and holds an Associate’s Degree in Finance. She joined Access Work Service to help with the Skills Links project in 2015 and ended up staying to provide bookkeeping support. She replaced the previous Program Coordinator Natalie Toppin when she retired and is currently coordinating the successful implementation of a program to improve employment outcomes for individuals experiencing barriers which is funded through an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant. She has worked as a job coach for Access Work Services and understands the diverse needs of the employees they support but is happy taking a background role where her Business Administration background can be put to good use. She helps run the family’s construction company in her spare time and is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist providing nutritional consulting on casual basis.
When she is not providing support to her team at Access Work Service she is usually teaching herself a new hobby. Most recently her interests have fallen to watercolour, but she enjoys crocheting, wood turning and gardening.
